Feb 26th: A little note from our Green Schools Committee.
Our Green school committee just completed our review meeting for our Green Flag renewal. They were complimented on all their hard work on the theme of the Marine Environment.
Over the last two years we have been learning not only about the Marine Environment but also the effects of climate change on it. We have learned lots about small changes we can make to help reduce our own impacts on climate change. We focused particularly on reuse and repairing items and thinking before we buy 'Do I really need this?'.
We have kept up our hard work on previous themes, remembering to separate our waste correctly, continuing to use reusable water bottles and conserving energy and water wherever we can.
Thank you all for your continued encouragement and support of our work.
The Green Schools Committee:
