Ben, Georgia, Jimmy, Colin, Eva, Ronja and Kayleigh.
We are the SAP Rainbow Bricks team and we will be representing
Ireland in America at the Razorback Open Invitational First Lego League competition in May. We became All
Ireland Champions after winning in Galway on the 24th of January.
To get to this point there has been a lot of preparation. We have been working on a project since September which is about how music is taught. We chose music because there is a great interest and tradition of music in our school. We also had to program a robot to do a variety of difficult tasks in a very short time.
The competition is open to students from 9-16 years of age. We are in 5th/6th class and we competed against Transition Year Students. Not only did we win the overall competition, we also won the award for best project solution. As the competition is being held in Arkansas USA, we have significant costs for us and our guardians to travel there and stay for the duration of the competition. We hope you will help us to cover some of these costs by clicking on the button below to give a donation.
